Charity Bike Ride

charity

Former pupil and Head of School, Jo Bryant was diagnosed with Cardiac Sarcoma in February 2011 and lost her battle in January 2013, from here ‘Team Bryant’ was born. As a legacy to Jo, Team Bryant raises funds to help support young people fighting cancer

so that they, in the words of Jo ‘never, never, never give up their fight’.

This Saturday (24th May) a 51 strong team of cyclists – some of whom attended Trent College with Jo and some former Trent staff – will be taking part in The Repton Beach Bike Ride, cycling 140 miles over two days to help raise funds and awareness of the charity.

Magnus Cowie, Acting Head at Trent College “Jo was a super Head of School. She was a friend to everyone within Trent and a wonderful role model. Her smile and overwhelmingly positive attitude always brightened up the mood of all around her. She is very fondly remembered by everyone who knew her at Trent”
