After hosting this successful event for the first time last year, Trent will again be welcoming the Medical Education Consultancy, who deliver training and advice to students who are interested in becoming doctors.
A two day conference (Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th February) is being hosted here at school, which will cover all aspects of the application process, including work experience, the BMAT and UKCAT, interviews, ethics, and the NHS.
All aspects of the Conference will be invaluable to those of our students who are considering a career in medicine. The two days will provide them with a real edge in the increasingly competitive world of medical applications.
Any student from year 10, 11 or 12 who is genuinely interested in applying to study medicine in the future should sign up, either through their Head of Year or directly to Conference Organiser Lucy Matthews (Head of Sixth Form) at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that if students wish to attend they will need to commit to both days. Attendance would normally cost students £80 each, we are delighted to be able to offer it at no charge to Trent College students.
