Community Service

The Trent College Community Service students hosted pupils from four local special schools on Field Day this year. They were from Stanton Vale, Fountain High, Southwolds and Brackenfield Schools. The visitors were accompanied to a series of activities around the campus which included a visit to the Biology menagerie, the Devonshire Library, the Sports Hall to play Football, Table Tennis and Basketball, the Wortley Computer suite, the Music Room (to make lots of noise on the drums) and a superb media textiles ‘workshop’ looking at the work of British artist Michael Brennand-Wood. The pupils could take their art work back with them as a memento of their visit.

They finished off their visit with a wonderful lunch in the Prince Obolensky Building which they always thoroughly enjoy.
