Marketing Communications Officer
We require an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with good interpersonal skills, to assist the Director of Marketing and Development in the marketing of Trent College and The Elms and the recruitment of new pupils using traditional and web-based communications. The successful applicant will be a graduate, or of graduate calibre, and have proven experience in marketing, advertising, communications and PR. Excellent copywriting and editing skills are essential.
Specifically, applicants must have a good working knowledge of website design and functionality, content management and social media marketing. They should also have well developed organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
The position is full time with an attractive salary and 5 weeks holiday. The role involves several Saturdays and evening hours to cover pupil recruitment events for which an additional week’s holiday will be given, thus totalling 6 weeks. Benefits include a contributory pension scheme and a generous Staff School Fee Discount scheme for the job holder’s children.
