Trent College Musical a Great Success

Trent College's annual School Musical has been performed to an audience of almost 800 friends and family eager to see the results of weeks of hard work and rehearsals.

Performances of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical 'Carousel' took place on 3rd, 4th and 5th December in the School's May Hall. A cast and crew consisting of students in Years 7 to 13, and almost 70 actors, demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm throughout the project by rehearsing all hours to guarantee another outstanding Trent College production. A collaborative effort featuring both Music and Drama enthusiasts, there was also significant interest from pupils wanting to participate in lighting, set, sound, costume and stage management duties. Demand outstripped supply, demonstrating that these annual productions hold an excellent reputation for being an enjoyable and professional project in which to become involved.
