Trent Art

At Trent, we speak of the total curriculum, not separating what happens in the classroom from what happens outside, but considering the whole as a package.

From their first years students are encouraged to try everything and begin to find out what they are good at. The quality, range and depth of activity at Trent is remarkable and the size and scope of the school allows all pupils to find their niche as well as other kindred spirits from amongst their peers.

From the formal disciplines of choral and classical ensemble to the informal jazz, rock and swing bands, there is such a breadth and variety of music at Trent. There are regular ensembles for students to become part of and over 500 music lessons are taught each week by 25 specialist music staff.

The quality and quantity of our drama productions is also impressive and students are encouraged to join in with a wide range of plays and reviews, from small studio ensemble work to ambitious whole school musicals and productions.

There are many students are Trent who distinguish themselves with their creativity, by using their imagination, their eyes and their hands to produce something unique and remarkable. Our Art Department and Art & Design workshops hold several inspiring exhibitions throughout the year.
