We provide the opportunity for pupils to play regular competitive sport. Every week we field as many as 30 sports teams, in all three terms. We offer a wide variety of sports including Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Rugby Football, Tennis, Canoeing, Athletics, Mountain Biking and Swimming. Badminton, squash, aerobics and weights prove especially popular with the older students, who are able to benefit from the excellent range of facilities in activity time as well as in games sessions.
We encourage all pupils to strive for excellence, and to achieve their potential. Many students are selected to represent their county and several have risen to regional and international level in Cricket, Hockey, Rugby Football, Athletics and Tennis.
We regularly take students on overseas tours, and have recently taken squads to destinations such as Australia, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada and Ireland. (Click on the links above to see the photos)
