Thirty two very excited Year 7 students have taken part in Chemistry Chaos this term as part of an enrichment option. Some of the things they have done are: setting fire to money (and watching in amazement and anticipation as it didn't burn), making polymers of slime and polymorph, writing their names in fire and testing diet coke and mentos to see how high the fizz would go!
Some of the feedback from students was "it was the best enrichment ever", "I liked the bouncy polymorph ball best" and "I like setting fire to the chemicals and seeing the different colours".
At Trent our teachers work very hard to make learning an enjoyable and exciting experience, another great example of bringing lessons to life!
