Congratulations go to Jess Storey, Year 13 who won the regional
round of the Young Engineers for Britain Big Bang Competition last week at the
Yorkshire Air Museum, with her A Level Project, a Geodesic Rabbit Hutch. Jess
was selected as a finalist for the National Science and Engineering Competition,
to be held at the Big Bang in London in March 2013, from the 106 students
present.
Jess won the following prizes.

First Place in the 16-18 Engineering Category.
·
Regional Winner of the Young Engineer For
Britain Award.
·
Merchant Adventurer’s Prize for the most
Creative Project.
·
Selected as a finalist for the National Science
and Engineering Competition, to be held at the Big Bang in London in March
2013.
