On Friday 29th June, 40 Year 9 and 10 pupils visited Chatsworth as a reward for their scholarly endeavours this year. They were treated to a special picnic by the catering team complete with strawberries which they munched whilst enjoying the very beautiful surroundings. After lunch 'the tribe' had the opportunity to test out the adventure playground, farm, parkland and gardens. 
At 3.37pm the best bit, the Olympic Torch was carried through the gardens and we watched the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire greet the torch bearer before they set off on the journey towards Derby.
