Today (Monday 11th June) we are very happy to play host to the Twenty 20 encounter between Nottinghamshire 2nd XI v England Under-19s.
The match will feature our very own 17-year-old student Simon Webster whose cricketing career has really taken off in recent months. He is a Nottinghamshire Academy player and has represented both Notts 2nds this season and toured Bangladesh as part of the England U19 squad earlier this year. He could have therefore been asked to represent either team, but today is playing for Nottinghamshire.
The decision to host the game at Trent College is a nod to the school’s Head Groundsman, Peter Flewett, and his team. Well done all and good luck to Simon!
