SPORTS FACILITIES
These include:
Indoor heated swimming pool
A 25m indoor heated swimming pool which is available for hire all through the year. The pool is hired extensively by local amateur swimming clubs and is also hired by specialist amateur organisations for swimming and diving coaching course.
Sports Hall
A full size sports hall is available for hire for a variety of sporting activities, including indoor tennis nets, basket ball, netball and badminton.
Outdoor sports facilities which include:
One full size multipurpose flood-lit Astroturf pitch (opened in July 2004). It provides the ideal facility for all year round training in sports such as hockey.
We also have another Astroturf pitch with partial flood-lighting only, which is available and hired out for use by several local football and hockey clubs for their preseason training.
We have several outdoor hard tennis courts which are also available for hire throughout the year.
Our other outdoor sports facilities include: six rugby pitches, cricket nets and extensive playing fields which are suitable for a variety of outdoor activities such as outward-bound courses, sports days or specialist sports development training.

CONFERENCE AND BANQUETING
Trent College is a traditional and aesthetically pleasing venue for any conference or function. Set in 45 acres of beautiful grounds, we have a portfolio of quality conference and banqueting facilities available for hire to suit the needs of anyone looking for an alternative conference and banqueting venue.
We can accommodate from 20 - 200 for a conference and can offer our own in-house catering and technical facilities and services including a delegate registration service. Our Day Delegate rate starts from £25 per person plus vat.
Banqueting
Our functions rooms vary in size from those that will accommodate 30 up to 250. We can also provide a conference planning service to help you plan your function or event from start to finish. We can offer a range of hospitality services including formal dinners, balls and theme evenings such as medieval nights or school dinner events. The hire charges for a function room start at £150 per day.
Conferences
Our conference facilities include:
100 seater Lecture Theatre with multi-media facilities for audition visual presentations and up to 10 syndicate rooms for group sessions.
Theatre style auditorium with seating for up to 350 people, with lighting and sound facilities for events such as larger presentations, training events product launches, seminars and exhibitions.
A range of both traditional and modern style meeting rooms are also available to accommodate from 6 to 30 delegates for board meetings, training sessions and seminars.
Lighting, sound or computer technical services support for customised presentations and events.
Rooms for Hire
We have a number of rooms that are available for hire throughout the year for small or large meetings. Room hire rates start from £10 per hour plus vat.
We have an auditorium with its own integrated lighting and sound facilities can be hired for theatre and drama productions and musical shows. Prices start at £50 per hour plus vat for the hire of this facility.
