Trent College Assisted Places Scheme

The Trent College Assisted Places programme is a scheme aimed at making high quality independent education available to families from all economic backgrounds, assisting parents whose financial circumstances are such that ordinarily they would not be able to afford to send their children to Trent College.

Assisted Places provide a means-tested financial subsidy, which can be as much as 100% of the fees for either day or boarding places, depending on household income and capital. The application process is straight forward; parents should initially submit an Application Form (available from the Registrar) in which a full declaration of means is made, to be completed after registering their child and before they take the Entrance Examination (Year 7 entry only). If an Assisted Place is awarded it will be reviewed annually, and as long as there is no significant change in the means of the parent(s), and the child makes satisfactory progress, the level of the grant will be maintained.

If you would like your son or daughter to enjoy a broad and balanced education at Trent College, please apply for one of our Assisted Places which are available to school children of any age, and particularly at Year 3, Year 7, Year 10 and Sixth Form. If you would like to receive further information, please contact our Registrar on 0115 849 4950, by email at registrar@trentcollege.net or by writing to Trent College, Derby Road, Long Eaton, Nottingham NG10 4AD.
