LAMDA is one of the leading drama schools in the English-speaking world and conducts the most eminent set of public examinations in speech and drama.
178 pupils are taking the LAMDA Syllabus from years 7 to 13 this year.

Notable students are:
David Campbell who achieved the highest mark in the centre with 87 for his Grade 8 Gold Medal Solo Acting; Daryl Hele 85 Speaking of Verse & Prose Grade 8 Gold Medal; Laura Macrae & Sam Francis achieved a Merit for their Grade 8 Gold Medal Acting Duologue. In Main School Theo Whittaker achieved 86 Distinction for his Grade 4 solo Devised exam; Matthew Leiper 85 Solo Acting Grade 6 Bronze Medal; Louise Sun 84 Speaking of Verse & Prose Grade 7 Silver medal. Lower School saw 5 Year 7's achieve Distinction, with Harry Wilkinson getting 86 for his Grade 3, Harvey Boyles 83, Tom Baines 82 and Holly Hammond 80 all for Reading for Performance. Grade 2 or 3 and Gabrielle Titley 85 for Grade 2 Speaking of Verse & Prose - for most of them it was their first ever exam.
Every exam promotes good communication skills, self confidence and presentation strategies whilst developing the voice for clarity and projection.
