International Admissions Co-ordinator

From May 2017

Permanent; part-time (3-4 days per week all year round)

Trent is a successful, selective day and boarding school in which every pupil is given the individual care and guidance which enables them to flourish at school and in later life.

Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, the International Admissions Co-ordinator will recruit overseas boarders into the Trent community. You will develop relationships with overseas agents and represent the College at events.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a people-facing role, be professional and organised. You will be driven, enthusiastic and IT literate. The role does involve UK and overseas travel which will result in overnight stays and weekend working.

Careers Officer

Permanent

8:30am – 5pm (37.5 hours per week); term time plus occasional Saturday and several evenings for parent information events and attendance at the two results days in August.

Reporting directly to the Head of Careers, the Careers Officer will help develop careers related activities across the College, including the development of the progression related aspects of the pastoral programme. S/he will be based in our new, purpose built, Careers and Higher Education Centre which is due to be open for the start of the coming academic year.

The successful candidate will be professional, organised and knowledgeable in Higher Education advice and careers education and guidance. They will be able to communicate efficiently and work under pressure. The candidate should be driven, enthusiastic and IT literate.

Music Peri Teacher (Flute)

Required from end of April 2017; part-time

Trent is a successful, selective day and boarding school where academic excellence, sporting achievement, musical accomplishment and participation in the arts are all highly prized.

We require a flute teacher who is able to teach pupils from beginner level through the grades to diploma standard. Flute is a popular instrument and musicians have opportunities to perform solos and in school orchestras, wind bands, chamber music. Some of our pupils are also members of county-level ensembles.

As well as performance practice and technique you will be required to have a good understanding of supporting skills such as aural and music theory.

Lessons lasting 30 or 60 minutes each are all delivered individually.
