Trent College is a happy and flourishing co-educational, independent day and boarding school. Our campus is located in beautiful grounds conveniently situated on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Founded in 1866, Trent is a school with a rich heritage and traditions spanning 140 years. Though we value our unique and distinguished past, we have our eyes firmly set on the demands being made on young people in the 21st century and a spirit of energy, creativity and innovation.

News Update - 02 July 2009

Of the 4 confirmed cases of Swine Flu (influenza A, H1N1v) reported this week, 2 students have now fully recovered and returned to school following full medical clearance. 1 student was sent home yesterday feeling unwell and several students have remained at home having been referred to their GPs earlier in the week. Several inter-school cricket matches have been cancelled by visiting teams from other areas.

In common with other schools, Trent College follows the dictates of the Health Protection Agency and the Local Authority regarding all health issues and their recommendation is for the school to remain open and continue as normal.

The Year 13 Strawberries Concert proceeds to plan in the Marquee on Friday 3 July followed by Trent College Speech Day on the last day of term, Saturday 4 July.

Any subsequent updates will be posted on this website. Please refer to the back articles on the Latest News section to read more on Swine Flu.
